Hyvä started out as a front-end theme that replaced Magento’s slow default front-end technology. Built on Alpine.js and Tailwind CSS, the theme outperforms the default in terms of performance and loads up to 5 times faster. But Hyvä has since become much more than just a theme.
Hyvä Commerce is the all-in-one license for Magento Open Source merchants who want the full package: from the storefront to the checkout, from content management to the admin panel.
Whereas you used to have to purchase a Hyvä Theme license and a Hyvä Checkout license separately, Hyvä Commerce now bundles them together and adds new features that make Magento much more user-friendly for both developers and the people who work with the store on a daily basis.
This includes significantly improved page builder functionality that lets you showcase your store even better using Hyvä CMS components.

01. How much does Hyvä Commerce cost?
Hyvä Commerce costs €3,000 per year per Magento installation, with an optional annual renewal. There is also a one-time option: a 5-year license for €12,000. The license applies to a single installation with unlimited domains and store views.
Merchants who already have a paid Hyvä Theme license can trade it in through a cashback program.
Implementation costs by Factor Blue, as a Hyvä partner, are billed separately and depend on the scope of the project.
02. Does Hyvä Commerce work on both Magento Open Source and Adobe Commerce?
Hyvä Commerce primarily runs on Magento Open Source. For Adobe Commerce (formerly Magento Commerce), an additional Hyvä Enterprise license is available to ensure compatibility. Most of Hyvä Commerce’s features are available on both platforms. Factor Blue implements Hyvä Commerce on both Magento Open Source and Adobe Commerce and advises on the right license combination based on your situation.
03. How long does a Hyvä Commerce implementation take?
The turnaround time depends on the scope of the project. A new Magento online store built entirely on Magento in combination with Hyvä Commerce typically takes 3 to 6 months, depending on the complexity of the design, the number of integrations, and the amount of customization.
Upgrading an existing Hyvä Theme installation to the full Hyvä Commerce suite—including Checkout, CMS, and Admin modules—is usually faster and can be completed in 4 to 6 weeks.
